Resistance Training
This type of training, also called strength training, is a way of exercising to improve your physical health. It involves lifting weights, but it can also be body weight exercises e.g push ups or squats.
When doing the training you place force on the muscle, thereby increasing the muscle strength, along with the strength of ligaments and tendons, and improving your bone density.
